Supersonic

Information:         Supersonic was Oasis first single and still one of the best
                              songs they have ever done!
                              The lyrics has no depth at all but is really cool! 
                              The lines;
                              "I know a girl called Elsa. She´s into Alka Seltzer." comes
                              from a engineer that had a Rottweiler called Elsa and it
                              farted a lot so the group decided that it must have been
                              eaten Alka Seltzer.      
                              Many people have different opinions of what the lyrics means,
                              some says it´s about teenage prostitution, and Noel commented
                              that with the words;
                              "Shit! It's about a nine-stone Rottweiler..."                                                      
                              The lyrics has also a Beatles reference;
                              "You can sail with me, in my yellow submarine."
                              
                              The video for the song was shot in King´s Cross, London
                              and directed by Mark Szaszy. It´s Oasis on a roof.
                              (A US version was also made by Nick Egan. It´s with
                              Oasis under a big plastic dinosaure (!) etc.)
